What is custom training?
Custom training, contract training, corporate training – they all mean the same thing. Tailored training experience that is proven to have the best outcome. We will collaborate with you to develop a training that is relevant and timely.
 

Is this program only for large corporations or businesses?
We have worked with all industry sectors, including government, public services, non-profit organizations, education institutions and healthcare. Whether you are a small business or international corporation, we can tailor the training solution to meet your needs deliver the learning outcomes you want to see.

What is the cost of this training?
We are here to work with you to make the most out of your training investment. When you call us for a consultation, we will discuss your training needs and develop a realistic plan based on your budget. You may also qualify for government funding programs that support workforce training such as the B.C. Employer Training Grant program (ETG). We can help with the application process.

Where does the training take place?
We can deliver training at any location you request. The training can take place at any of our campuses, online through online learning platform and onsite whether you are a local or international business. Do you offer training outside of office hours?
Yes! Our training works around your schedule. Our instructors can deliver the training at a time that’s most convenient for you and your team.

Situated in the picturesque city of Vancouver, Langara College is the college of choice when it comes to international study delegations.  Participants will gain valuable international experiences while learning from industry leaders and experienced instructors. Our programs offer a taste of Canadian workplace practices by incorporating site visits and networking events. We can also build in English language programing and cultural activities for an enriched experience. Higher Education Strategic Leadership and Management

This program has been developed for University and College Senior Leaders and provides participants with the opportunity to learn about the various roles and standards of higher education in Canada. The format for the training includes in-class instruction, idea exchanges, guest speakers, visits to other colleges and universities in the Vancouver area, as well as educational cultural activities. Instruction is delivered in English with an option for interpreters. The program is 13 weeks in duration, but can be customized to address the needs of your group.

Business in Canada

This program is for participants who are interested in learning how to do business in Canada. Participants will inform and improve their professional practice through greater awareness of Canadian standards and gain knowledge about important aspects of business conduct in Canada. 

Creative Arts: Animation, VFX and Game Design

This program is for participants who are interested in developing their creative arts skills with experienced instructors in the industry. Not only will you get to get a first-hand perspective of the vibrant creative arts section in Vancouver, you will have valuable experience of sharing ideas with Canadian counterparts.
