Langara Global is proud to offer entrance scholarships for international students newly accepted to full-time Regular Studies undergraduate programs at Langara.
Studying at Langara College in Canada means you get a quality education in a supportive environment, and you can earn credentials that are recognized worldwide. To properly prepare yourself, make sure to consider the costs associated with studying in another country, such as the international student deposit, tuition, and fees. To create a realistic budget, include living expenses such as accommodations, food, shopping, travel, and entertainment.
If you are eligible, there are ways to offset these costs by applying for an International Entrance Scholarship, Financial Aid, or working while attending college.

Vancouver is the largest city in British Columbia and the third-largest city in Canada. The population, over 2.3 million people in the metro Vancouver region, is ethnically, racially and religiously diverse. Vancouver’s proximity to the ocean and to the mountains attracts residents and visitors from around the world.
Langara has some of the most reasonable tuition fees in British Columbia. Most student fees include the U-Pass Compass Card for accessing public transit and a comprehensive health and dental plan at reduced rates. Fees do not include the cost of textbooks that may be required for the course.
Langara does not have on-campus residences. Students may choose to live in homestay, with friends or family already in Canada, or in an off-campus rental unit. Students who live off campus are generally renting an apartment, condo, basement suite, or room in a shared house. Shared accommodations (roommates) will usually have lower costs as expenses are shared. Shared rental accommodation prices range from $500 to over $1,000 per month.
Food, shopping, travel, and entertainment budgets will vary depending on preferences.
International students are expected to have proof of funds to cover expenses while studying in Canada. Students can’t rely on part-time employment to cover essential costs of living.
