Langara Global Scholarships
Awards for international and domestic students. Please read the eligibility criteria carefully. A list of eligible Continuing Studies programs is at the bottom of this page. Awards require an application unless otherwise noted.
The Langara Global Awards application deadline has now passed for the Spring 2025 semester. Please check back in August 2025 for Fall 2025 application opportunities.
Academic Success in a Post-Degree Certificate or Diploma is awarded to a full-time international student who has achieved the highest CGPA in their first term of a post-degree certificate or diploma program and who is registered in the second term of the same program. (Spring, summer, or fall)
No application is required. All eligible students will be automatically considered.
Glen and Carole Egilson Community Building Award is awarded to an international student who is currently enrolled full-time in a regular studies or eligible continuing studies programs. The recipient would have completed a minimum of two full-time terms at Langara and have CGPA of 2.33 or C+ average. Recipients will have demonstrated, within the last calendar year from application date, commitment and dedication to facilitating cultural adjustment and/or life transitions for international students and/or newcomers to Canada, and embodies the spirit of giving and hospitality, in a volunteer capacity outside of Langara. (Spring or fall)
i-Guide Mentors Award is awarded to an international student who is currently enrolled full-time in a regular studies or eligible continuing studies program. The recipient would have completed a minimum of two or more terms as an i-Guide mentor and have CGPA of 2.33 or C+ average. Recipients will have demonstrated contribution to helping new students overcome hurdles to academic and personal success, as well as leadership contribution to the i-Guide program. (Spring or fall)
International Student Athlete Award is awarded to an international student who meets the athletics conference of eligibility criteria, is in good academic standing and is a current member of a Langara College athletics team. Please note, LEAP students are eligible for this award and there is no minimum CGPA required. (Spring, summer, or fall)
No application is required. All eligible students will be automatically considered.
International Student Club Award is awarded to an international student who is currently enrolled full-time in a regular studies or eligible continuing studies program. The recipient would have completed a minimum of two full-time terms at Langara and have CGPA of 2.33 or C+ average. Recipients will have contributed to increasing intercultural awareness among students within a student club. (Spring or fall)
Langara Global Department Staff Award is awarded to an international student who is currently enrolled full-time in a regular studies or eligible continuing studies program. The recipient would have completed a minimum of two full-time terms at Langara, have CGPA of 2.33 or C+ average, and made significant contributions of service to the College community by volunteering a minimum of 25 hours in the preceding semester through the Langara Global Volunteer Program (LGVP) and/or VOLT programs. (Spring or fall)
Langara Global Volunteer Program Incentive Awards is awarded to international or domestic students enrolled in any regular studies or continuing studies program. Recipients are required to be studying in a minimum of three credits and have a minimum CGPA of 2.33 or equivalent for continuing studies programs. Recipients must be a current participant in the Langara Global Volunteer Program (LGVP) and have volunteered for a minimum of 15 hours in the semester the award is received. Recipients will have demonstrated the most contribution and leadership to the LGVP. (Spring, summer, or fall).
No application is required. All eligible students in the LGVP will be automatically considered.
LEAP to Academic Studies Entrance Scholarship is awarded to an international student who has successfully completed LEAP 8 with the highest grade and who is studying full-time in a regular studies university transfer, career, post-degree, or continuing studies full-time program leading to a credential, in the semester directly following their LEAP completion. (Spring, summer, or fall)
No application is required. All eligible students will be automatically considered.

- Certificate in Digital Music Production
