This form is for international students to request a deferral of an admitted application for a regular studies program to a future semester. 

Regular Studies Students

Please note that only requests from international students who have been fully admitted can be submitted through this form. This means students that have accepted their offer of admission, payed the deposit, and received their Letter of Acceptance. 

Applicants who have not yet received an offer of admission, or who have not yet paid their deposit and wish to defer their application to a future date are required to reapply to the future intake through EPBC as a “New International Applicant” (a new application fee is required).

Continuing Studies Students

If you are a student in a Continuing Studies program, please submit a deferral request by logging into the Continuing Studies Application Portal.

If your Study Permit was Denied

If your deferral request is due to a study permit denial and if your deferral request is approved, you must reapply for your study permit for the future semester. Future deposit refund requests must include a study permit application denial letter dated after the deferral request.

Please note that deferral requests are not guaranteed to be approved.
