Exchange Programs

Interested in other cultures and learning new languages? Want to make new friends living and working around the world? Ready to be challenged and gain a greater understanding of global issues? It’s time to consider a semester as an exchange student.

Exchange students study for one semester at a partner institution while paying tuition to Langara and earning credits that transfer back to their transcript. As an exchange student, you experience a different country through educational and cultural experiences that help develop a deeper understanding of yourself and those around you. It’s an opportunity to expand your world-view and build longlasting international relationships. these programs are open to Canadian citizens and permanent residents.

Virtual Exchange

Virtual Exchange

Some courses at Langara offer a classroom virtual exchange with a partner institution in another part of the world. Using different communication technologies, students from different countries complete shared assignments and projects, with faculty members from each country co-teaching and managing coursework. These courses help students develop intercultural competencies that are needed for success in today’s world and workforce.

It is integral that we come together as global citizens to support one another and work together. Through the virtual exchange, we are proud to provide our students with the skills necessary to adapt and manage whatever circumstances arise in the workplace and in the world.”
