Pathology Introduction for Bodywork Practitioners

An introduction to the study of the essential nature of diseases and especially of the structural and functional changes produced by them. This course is a natural continuation from the basic understanding of anatomy and physiology, bringing the analysis of the different mechanisms than can drive the body off balance. Explore the foundations for explaining the diseases and conditions affecting it including infectious agents, hemodynamic disorders, and neoplasms as well as the basics of surgical procedures and medication awareness.Ideal for candidates preparing to enter the RMT program, students that have completed Anatomy and Physiology courses and wanting to advance their knowledge, and practicing and aspiring health care personnel with an interest in expanding their knowledge of how the body works facing disruptions and disease.
