Description
Ableton Live is a powerful software for music production. Designed as a tool for composing, recording and mixing, but also as an instrument for live performance, it combines the traditional linear arrangement window found in most workstations, with a flexible environment called the Session View, where one can create and improvise without the constraints of a timeline. This workshop covers the basics of music production, sound design and laptop performance. You will learn about MIDI sequencing and virtual instruments, designing sounds using the built-in instruments and effects, how to edit and process audio recordings, as well as create elaborate templates for live music and DJ sets. Please note you will need to have the software for this course.Check out the free trial offer on the Ableton site.
