Why I chose Langara.

Starting a new path is exciting, but can also be scary. Being in a new country, meeting new people, having new expectations, and starting college can bring happiness as well as anxiety. Langara is there for you in both situations. There are clubs to bring you joy, and services like Counselling and tutoring to support you in your journey when you are experiencing difficulty.

I completed four co-op terms while at Langara, and it was a truly remarkable experience. Co-op allowed me to explore different roles and industries, expanding my knowledge and skill set. It helped be build my confidence, expand my network, and gave me a competitive edge in the job market.

I'm proud to have studied here because this program carries weight. It means something in the arts community to say that you've got your technical training through Langara’s Fine Arts program. The experience was very approachable and accessible. The faculty met the students where they were at and helped them learn from that place. I found it to be really useful and safe.
